MJR designed, built, and commissioned Allen Bradley PLC-based subsea cable burial plough handling control systems for The Engineering Business Ltd. Installed on three advanced Cable Laying and Repair vessels owned by Alda Marine.

The 17-year-old Torsion Meter on Tor Baltica had a failed and economically irreparable microcomputer, rendering the system unusable. MJR suggested a cost-effective solution, retaining serviceable components, resulting in a 60% overall cost saving for the owner.

MJR Power & Automation Controls secured a contract to retrofit Main Engine Bearing Monitoring & Protection Equipment for Andrew Weir Shipping's "River" class fleet. Services encompassed design, equipment supply, electrical and mechanical installation, and successful commissioning within the vessels' operational schedule.

Upon the return of P&O European Ferries' RoPax vessel 'Bison,' a comprehensive equipment refurbishment was initiated, focusing on the Soren T Lyngso UMS213 Machinery Monitoring & Alarm System and replacing the Exhaust Gas Temperature Monitoring System. MJR Power & Automation provided faultfinding, repairs, calibration, and installations.

MJR Power & Automation Controls provided a comprehensive turnkey package for the installation of an additional Diesel Electric Tunnel Thruster during the conversion of P&O European Ferries' 'European Leader,' including integrated machinery monitoring, safety systems, remote control, generator switchboard, electronic soft starter, and class-approved design.
