Where equipment remains supportable, the focus can be on testing, maintenance, overhaul or repair. Where systems have become obsolete or technically unsupportable, MJR can assess an upgrade or retrofit route instead of continuing an increasingly difficult repair cycle.

Planned Vessel Maintenance & Electrical Healthcare

MJR supports scheduled maintenance and wider electrical-condition programmes. On Seven Borealis, the scope included preventative maintenance of ABB ACS800 inverter drives alongside a vessel-wide five-year electrical healthcare survey supporting class renewal.

Fault Finding & Equipment Repair

Operational vessels and offshore assets can require marine electrical repair across switchboards, drives, power electronics, generator controls, automation and communications equipment. MJR supports both its own systems and third-party equipment through onboard and workshop service.

Obsolete System Support & Retrofit

Where equipment has become obsolete or no longer has practical manufacturer support, MJR specialises in troubleshooting the existing system and can develop an upgrade package where continued repair is no longer viable.
