Charge Offshore, the offshore vessel charging venture of MJR Power & Automation, has been named winner of the Vessel Charging Innovation of the Year category at the Advanced Maritime Technology International Awards 2026, presented at RAI Amsterdam. The award recognises significant innovation in vessel charging across the maritime sector. Charge Offshore was recognised for progressing its offshore charging solution from development into deployment, supporting the electrification of service vessels operating on offshore wind farms. The solution provides fixed or floating-mounted charging infrastructure for electric and hybrid offshore vessels, helping operators reduce fuel use, lower emissions and improve the commercial case for vessel electrification. The recognition follows the delivery of Charge Offshore’s 2MW commercial offshore charger.
